Section 1.1.4 Listing Entered As Sale Only

The sale of real property not listed in the NCRMLS with buyer representation may be entered as a SALE ONLY.  Stipulation of Sale MUST be “Entered as Sale Only”.  Sale Only listings are subject to all data compliance rules and subject to fines as specified in Exhibit 2 attached to these Rules.  Where agent is unable to complete any data field (such as a pending or sold date) IMMEDIATELY contact your MLS staff to correct the data.

Listing Agent MUST be “A Non Member” only if there is no Listing Agreement or the Listing Agent is not a member of NCRMLS.  The system will require you to use yourself as the listing agent, after all of the information is entered and saved, you must change this to “A Non Member”.  If there is a listing agreement and the listing agent is a member of the NCRMLS, mark the Listing Member field accordingly.

This Rule was changed from Comp Entry Listings on 12/3/2020

Note "Entered as Sale Only" means that the listing went under contract prior to being entered in the MLS.  It does not remove credit from the listing agent when there is a listing agreement.
